No animosity: Roiii leaves K.O.’s Skhanda World record label

Hip-hop artist Roiii recently shared the end of his collaborative era with award-winning rapper K.O.’s record label, Skhanda World.

Known for songs like La Vida Loca and Getting to Work, Roiii joined K.O.’s Skhanda World in September 2020. The artist was also featured on K.O.’s reality series, Inside Life with K.O., with one of the episodes showing Roiii acknowledging that he violated his contract with Skhanda World after engaging in a financial deal without involving the record label.

“I wasn’t trying to keep anything from nobody, it just so happened that only after the things that happened I realised that I probably could’ve said something, and going forward now if there’s anything to do with my brand working with other brands, I have to keep it up with above,” said Roiii.

Nevertheless, it was noted in a joint statement of Roiii’s departure from the label that there is no bad blood between the parties involved.

A portion of the statement read, “After much success in our contractual agreement, we came to a mutual understanding and no animosity is shared … This is not the end of the brotherhood but an opportunity for individual growth.”

Forever respect what @MrCashtime & @tsholo did for me as an individual. After successfully collaborating I’m happy to say that I’m leaving without any animosity. Young boys gon’ do what you young boys gotta do! ❤️ Big Love to @Skhandaworld_ZA , always going to rep! pic.twitter.com/Jp3JhIXRnQ
