Beginning of the year we saw many people work towards accomplishing goals of elevating themselves and wanting to do and be better this year. This meant dedicating themselves and committing to doing better and wanting to obtain better goals this year. Coming in hard at the beginning of the year were many of our celebrities namely Tony Forbes who is the father of the late South African rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes. As we approach AKA’s first birthday without him, Tony has worked tirelessly to become a better version of himself and has successfully obtained his goal.

As we entered the new year Tony took to social media to announce that he had made a conscious health decision of wanting to live a better lifestyle and step into a journey of developing good health habits that will become part of his everyday routine. To achieve this goal, Tony drew out a 21-day plan labeled “Tony’s good habits and activities.”

He further shared that a huge part of this commitment was dedicated to his late son. On day three of his journey he captioned his post, “Thank you for the encouragement to keep going towards being healthy and hopefully look and feel better. Maybe some of you will join me on this journey and form new habits. C’mon! Check out my custom daily habit tracker, do one for yourself, and let’s connect to share…and maybe flex. l wanna give Kiernan a cool birthday on Jan 28…a better version of me.”

As he nearly marks the completion of his goal, he took to Instagram to embrace his change with a new hair colour. “Today I did something different other than change my hair, I ran in rainy Johannesburg and tomorrow I will be doing my final run in Joburg and I’m looking forward to it. Although I’m wondering what am I going to do differently tomorrow.”
