The simple pixie cut can accommodate any face shape and will manage to enhance your natural beauty. The trendy pixie cut dates back to the retros and can be styled in various ways, so whether you are someone who wants to go for an edgy, stylish, chic, or curly short and chilled hairstyle, then be sure to go for the pixie cut as it will allow you to alternate between all these looks.

Enhance your natural facial features and stand out in this hairstyle styled according to your liking. While many state that the pixie haircut can require a lot of maintenance, this depends on how quickly your hair grows. The mentioned factor will determine how often you should trim and maintain your hair.

The staying process can then accommodate preference based on how you would want your curls and haircut to be.

Here are a few DIY tutorials that guide you on how to add all that pizzazz to your pixie haircut occasionally within the comfort of your own home.

Watch South African model and digital content creator Ongezi ‘OJ’Jonas style her pixie cut. For her pixie cuts, she states, ” I like that bounce so I make sure I curl a lot so that the top looks fuller.”

Guiding through another tutorial is Barbara Moagi – South African digital content creator and model – who mentions these as the essential steps after relaxing or washing your hair:

  • Use heat defence spray
  • Apply a generous amount of wrap mousse on the trimmed sides of your hair
  • Use a fine-tooth comb to define your finger waves on the sides.
  • Select a tiny section of hair, comb it, and use your preferred heating method, such as a curling or flat iron.
  • Repeat this until you have completed your head.
  • Use your fingers to run through your curls and style them accordingly.
  • Apply wrap mousse to sleek in the back part of your head.
