Nadia Nakai to release tribute single in honour of AKA

Rapper Nadia Nakai Dlamini, affectionally known as Nadia Nakai announced that she will be releasing her tribute single titled Never Leave this Friday.

The Zimbabwean-South African rapper and entrepreneur took to her socials where she reflected on the past year and how she has been after losing her boyfriend famous rapper Kieran Forbes better known as AKA who was killed last year in early February in Durban.

The rapper who has been very vocal about how she is handling her grief, revealed that she will be releasing her new tribute song which will feature rapper KashCPT.

According to TimesLIVE – a local news publication – Nadia was candid about the upcoming EP saying that working on her upcoming album was a healing process. Her tribute EP has now become a tribute album with contributions from various artists, resulting in something spiritual and unlike anything her fans have heard before.

Nadia Nakai posted this snippet of the tribute single captioning that the day she found out about her boyfriend’s death she wishes it was not true.

X users (formerly Twitter) rushed to the comment section in support of the BRAGGA rapper, wishing her luck on her healing journey and thanking her for bearing her pain out in the public eye as a way to connect with fans.

May you heal(whatever that entails personally for u) whilst carry him with you forever. Thank you for bearing yourself out like this n also for us to relate somehow n connect to your pain. Long live SUPERMEGA??
