Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo to host cooking competition show

Award-winning TV personality and actress Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo is set to grace our screens yet again as she has bagged a presenting gig for the SABC 2 cooking show, ‘Colour Your Plate With Koo.’

Thembisa made a slight comeback when she hosted The Mommy Club Reunion, however, that wasn’t enough as viewers wanted to see more of her. Before securing The Mommy Club Reunion gig, the star celebrated many life milestones which included turning 41 and welcoming the newest addition to her family, a baby boy.

The star announced on her Instagram by posting a series of images of her baby shower that was themed blue, making it safe to allude that she was expecting a baby boy. The baby shower was attended by her colleagues and many of those dear to her. While many were still focused on that, the star took to announce her double blessings as she had welcomed to the world a bouncing baby boy and turned 41 the same day.

The gorgeous mom did not stop there as she showcased her birthday celebration which was attended by a star-studded guest of the South African acting industry and many of her loved ones. While we were quite happy to see all the milestones, her presence on our screens was felt as the last acting role she portrayed was that of Queen MamThembu on Hela Media’s ‘1802: Love Defies Time.’

Announcing the cooking show presenting gig was entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela as he took to X to announce that season 3 of the show will premiere on January 23, at 19h00, on SABC2.
