by Limpho Nonkonyane

Popular businessman Sphamandla Mabonga was shot at Tempo nightclub in Sandton on Friday night. The businessman who is known to have dated musician, entrepreneur, and model Londie London was among three people injured during the shootout.

The Former Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) reality star confirmed her breakup with Sphamandla whom she dated from July 2023 with X users (formerly Twitter) when they tagged her in the stories that had been going viral at the time.

The shootout which started between Sphamandla and a few men at the Tempo nightclub led to the businessman being shot in the ribs. According to reports, the businessman is under police surveillance in a hospital after the club filed a case against him. He is also alleged to have three other cases in Centurion, Midrand, and Soweto.

While the two were still dating, last year September Londi gifted her ex a gun on his birthday. X users commented on her not fearing for her life and further stated that having a gun was dangerous for multiple other reasons.

Local news commentator, The Instigator posted a video where he commented on the musician buying her ex-boyfriend a gun.
