Musa Mseleku’s plea to late wife hints family troubles

The renowned Mseleku family is one that many have grown to love, while others are not quite in agreement with their way of doing things. Mzansi has slowly but surely warmed up to the Mseleku family as they introduced us to the idea of a polygamous family from a perspective that South Africa has never experienced before.

The family show, Uthando Nes’thembu is set to return to our screens for its 7th season this January as they display how they navigate the dynamics of being a polygamous family of popular businessman Musa Mseleku. While viewers are quite aware that Musa has a late wife, it is quite rare that we hear the family speak of her or acknowledge her presence as the former first wife of the polygamous marriage.

With the new season of the show set to premiere on the 25th of January, Musa has asked that his late wife, Sindi Masaule guide them through this new season as their guardian angel and ancestor. “Now that you are an ancestor may you kindly guide us as we enter our season 7 of UThando Nes’thembu,” he shared.

Further describing his late first wife’s character and the role that she played within the Mseleku family setting Musa mentioned, “You are one person who embraced and supported our vision without a shadow of doubt. Besides that we truly miss you but we need your wisdom, your guidance Ndlunkulu is needed as ever than before. We know your beliefs and things that you did not like but the family has grown now and is still growing.”

Musa continued to implore that MaSaule’s peaceful spirit of unity and love intervenes and guides the family through the current “disunity” that is prevailing within the family. He wrote, “I know you would not have wished for disunity that is prevailing right now and the struggle for power. Please rise again we need your peaceful spirit, and the family needs you I know you are shining down on us from heaven, you have been a good human being to us. Your contributions have not gone unnoticed. MaSaule we need you now and forever more.”
