Yesterday marked the commencement of a new school year and many young schoolers were excited to start this new chapter in their lives.

For parents, it was a bittersweet moment as they beamed with pride, joy, and even tears while realising that their children were growing up and becoming more independent. It is a significant milestone for scholars and their families alike.

Several public figures used their social media accounts to share the excitement of their children starting at new schools or higher grades. Many parents expressed the same emotions, with some admitting to putting on a brave face for their children and later crying in private.
