Rachel Kolisi, wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, shared her reflections on the highlights of 2023 in a New Year’s Eve video on Instagram.
Seated between her two kids, she expressed feeling overwhelmed by the flood of 2023 highlights Reels on social media and mentioned not having the energy to create one herself.
“I’m finding all the 2023 Reels so overwhelming today. But so beautiful to see a wrap up of everyone’s year. There isn’t going to be one from me, because I don’t have the energy. But wishing you all a beautiful evening celebrating new year,” she remarked..
Continuing, she said: “I’m off the opinion that it is more of the same shiznizel, different day.”
Nicholas then asked if she was the mom of the year, to which Rachel responded with uncertainty.
“I don’t know, am I?,” she said.
Her daughter reassured her, affirming that she indeed is. While Rachel spoke through the video on her Instagram Stories, Siya humorously interrupted, asking for toilet paper, prompting laughter.
