Having been in the spotlight, the crowed seemed to have come just for her, as it was clear that she won them over. Many sang along as she led in song.

The talented Durbanite rose to prominence after the American singer and song writer Chris Brown spotted a video of her and her classmates singing in a classroom and shared it on his Instagram story in 2022. A year later the singer then used her voice as a sample in one of his songs Shooter, in the newly released album 11:11.

Later Breezy, as he is popularly known, gifted the singer R54 555 according to entertainment publication Briefly News.

“Chris Brown did what I would have never done. There are many people who are talented outside and he chose a child from a small city like mine. I appreciate him so much. People who didn’t know anything about Naledi Aphiwe today know her. It has changed my home situation. Everything is good now,” she told news entertainment publication TshisaLIVE.
