DJ Stokie bags a double platinum plaque

The amount of double platinum plagues that amapiano artists have received, is proof that they have been working extremely hard this year! These are the milestone everyone is hoping to reach when they work on certain projects.

South African musical artist Setoki Mbatha professionally known as DJ Stokie bagged himself a gold and a double platinum plaque.

DJ Stokie is one of the artists that are making the amapiano genre to the next level. The talented musician has worked with the likes of Kabza De Small, Sir Trill Nkosazana Daughter and many others.

Known for his mastery amapiano dance mixes, the masithokoze hitmaker has created a distinctive sound that is deep, feel-good, and soulful. The artist believes that there is nothing impossible if you put God first.

His milestone includes gold-certified and double platinum albums:

  • My Journey – Gold (18,753 units)
  • My Journey Continues – Gold (18,148 units)
  • Awukhuzeki– 5* Platinum (103,817 units)
  • Ama-international– Gold (13,212 units)
  • Aw’ufaniNabanye – Gold (11,069 units)
  • Feelings– Gold (14,726 units)
  • Ipianoe’Soweto – 2* Platinum (44,708 units)
  • SokeS’bone – Platinum (38,904 units)
  • Superman– 4* Platinum (80,496 units)

He took to Instagram and posted a video of himself holding his gold and double platinum plaque.
