The South African award-winning actress and radio host Thando Thabethe is making a much-anticipated return to our screens with her reality TV show.

While many may know her from being the one responsible to drive listeners back home with her afternoon shows as she hosts the “947 Drive with Thando,” Thando has quite always been in the limelight showcasing and exploring many of her talents.

According to HDS Entertainment – an entertainment agent – viewers first witnessed the actress into action when she had a starring role on the SABC 1 sitcom, My Perfect Family. On the sitcom, the star portrayed the role of the annoying elder sister, Thando Nkosi.

Her following gig revealed a different character to Thando as she was one of the co-hosts that headed Club 808, an Etv music show.

Since then, the artist blossomed into the entertainment industry as a multitalented personality as she took on the roles of being an actress, presenter, host, radio DJ, ambassador, and an entrepreneur.

While many knew the media personality as someone who curated many characters, Thando had a surprise up her sleeve that would give the world a chance to get to know the real her. The radio DJ then added two more titles – reality tv star and executive producer – to her accomplishments.

The executive producer aired her reality show, Unstoppable Thabooty on the BET DStv channel. The reality tv show was produced by Thando alongside her business partner and best friend, Tumelo Maimela,

Announcing the return of the reality tv show, Phil Mphela took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news that the show has been renewed for season 2.

He captioned his post:

“Thando Thabethe’s reality show renewed Unstoppable Thabooty green-lit for a second season which starts on BET on January 20, 2024.”
