Internet reacts to Zahara’s death

One of the most loved songwriters and singers, Bulelwa Mkutukana, professionally known as Zahara, died after battling liver complications.

Many artists, media personalities and social media users are shaken by the death of the Eastern Cape-born singer, who was hospitalised on the 27th of November, and have been flooding social media with her pictures.

One social media user wrote on Facebook, “You’ve been a light in the darkness, a voice of hope and strength. Your music has lifted spirits and brought joy to many.”

Other social media users commented with messages of condolences:

“Rest in peace Loliwe?”

“Zahara ??? the queen ? the Legend has fallen very early ????she faced a lot ?.”

Another user shared and said:

“I offer my deepest condolences to Zahara’s family, friends and her colleagues in the music fraternity, for the loss of Zahara.”

Digital content creator Seemah Mangolwane also posted on TikTok; she captioned her post, “My childhood has been ruined. Rip sis wam?️.”

TikTok users replied:

“I’ve been a fan since grade 1. We miss her music so much, rest in eternal peace Zahara, we will always love you ??️?.”

Another one wrote, “It’s really sad. Life is so short and the worst part is I was listening to her songs today and I’ve been a fan since I was in grade 6. Zahara bakithi.”

Another one said:

“2023 been a rough year, it was Aka, Costa Titch now it’s Zahara? ?.”

Another content creator posted a video and said:
