‘Our love and healing is what matters,’ says Mome

Reality TV producer and clothing designer Mome Mahlangu recently shared a cosy moment with her comedian husband Mongezi “Tol A$$ Mo” Mahlangu shortly after the pair announced they were back together after their split a few months ago.

The couple shocked social media users when the comedian announced their split, adding that he was traumatised by black women and did not want to be with a black woman again.

Announcing they were back together again, Tol A$$ Mo shared a post with his wife, stating he was grateful to have her back in his life and that he loved her and will be with her till death.

Sharing a picture of what looks like a pool day at the Mahlangu household, Mome captioned her post:

“Live your life, you have nothing to lose, just because they went through their battles (trauma, depression, mental breakdowns, etc) in private, their opinions & comments don’t make their lives perfect. Taking care of our mental health is a priority more than anything, especially commenting on people’s lives, it’s not our thing ?.”

Mome went on to mention they did not care about those who had a lot to say about their relationship:

“FYI a Rena Taba le motho our love & healing is what matters … let them talk cause whenever their names are mentioned nobody CARES but a few millions of people cared to follow this journey, hope a few lessons were taken. I must say, this experience opened our spiritual understanding to a greater level and the importance of individually taking care of our mental health.”

She finished off by adding that she knew that internet users were going to have a say about how they feel about each other based on the snipped video shared:

“Get white nail polish like Mo if you want cause who cares ?? …. Now the false prophet will judge our feelings on the picture ?????.”

Seeing what Mome had posted, many social media users voiced their opinions of the mother of three’s post, sharing:

“Love it. That quiet moment between two hearts with no pressure to fill it with spoken words. Pure comfort in each other’s presence. Much love to yol.”

Other users pointed out that Tol A$$ Mo should be the one posting Mome as he is the one who wronged her.

“You’ve sacrificed so much for this man, abandoned your religion and belief to support his ancestral calling, stood by him through all the r*pe saga and he embarrassed you in public. I actually agree with that other person who said he is the one who needs to do the posting and cosy moments. Wena you’ve done your part. He needs to also step up.”

Other’s shared their excitement at the couple being back together, commenting:

“May the Lord and ancestors makes you guys stronger!!! It’s not about us but your family!! I for one Mome, you are teaching me a lot of things!!! I never knew I was capable of!!! Thank you.”
