Nunurai Mudarikwa steals The Mommy Club reunion spotlight

by Bongiwe Mati

The much-anticipated reunion of Showmax’s The Mommy Club premiered yesterday, leading internet users to pick their favourite mommy out of the four mommies who were present.

Cast member Tshegofatso Manche – famously known as Ms. Manche – did not make it to the reunion, leaving fellow cast members Mpumi “Mrs. Mops” Mophatlane, Happy “Her Majesty” Simelane, Nunurai Mudarikwa and Ratile Mabitsela to face each other head on.

Playing clips from some of the episodes of the reality show, the reunion presenter Thembisa Mdoda tried to get the mommies to own up to their judgmental behaviour, which happened during the airing of the episodes, and apologise to each other.

While Oratile and Mrs. Mops apologised for things they said on the show about others, mother of one Nunurai was not having it. She refused to apologise for things she said including asking Omuhle Gela, a friend of the show, who her baby daddy was.

Upon watching the show that portrayed a very smart and fierce Nunurai, internet users expressed their love for her reunion conduct, sharing:
