Bongi Mbonambi and wife make the most of their time in the Mother City

by Sergio Miller

Following a difficult 2023 campaign Springbok hooker Bongi MbonaMbi is making the most of his quality time with family.

The Sharks player recently spent some quality time with the two important girls in his life, his wife and daughter.

The couple recently took to Instagram looking extremely cosy as they enjoyed a wonderful night out in Cape Town.

Bongi can be seen looking happier than ever as he boasts his million-dollar smile with his queen Anastacia by his side.

In an Instagram post he wrote: “Wifey and I trying to have a beautiful date night … but we have a small human stalking us.”

Bongi has been at the centre of a lot of controversy in the last months. This comes after England international rugby player Tom Curry accused him of making a racist remark in their semi-final clash during the rugby World Cup.

Despite the accusations, the hooker was cleared to play in the final and won his second trophy.

Last month, Bongi thanked his wife for her unwavering support and always allowing him to chase his dreams.

“Thank you for being an amazing wife and an awesome mom. You have seen me at my best and at my worst, and still, you are always by my side. Thank you, Esa and I love you.
