More good news came in from the four-time rugby champions. 29-year-old Springbok fly-half, Handre Pollard, alongside his wife, Marise Pollard, who is an athlete and lifestyle travel and fitness blogger, announced their pregnancy yesterday.

While the country celebrates the Springboks most recent win, it seems as though the year 2023 will always be memorable for not just the team as a whole but for many of them that are yet to become new dads.

Expecting their first child, Marise took to Instagram to share the announcement of their first pregnancy.

The couple shared pictures of Marise showing her baby bump while Handre gushes over her and their unborn baby.

Marise captioned her post:
“The biggest blessing of them all joining us April ’24 ? Thank you Jesus for trusting us with this little life. ?.”

Some of her friends within the Springboks wives circle took to Instagram to congratulate the pair on their newest addition.

“The best best news ?,” expressed Rachel Kolisi.

While Layla Kolbe said “Bless!!! So excited ? ?.”

“Yipeeee!!!! So baie liefde en blessings vir julle (So much love and blessings for you both)????,” Anlia Etzebeth shared her excitement.

Meanwhile, netizens had something very mischievous to say about Handre.

“He never misses anywhere ???,” stated a netizen.

While another netizen said, “One thing Handrè will do is score ????.”

The Pollards will be joining the Etzebeth family as they both welcome new additions to their families in the upcoming year. The nation cannot wait for these gentle giants to get their dad titles and start serving fatherly goals alongside one another.
