Wine tasting farms to visit in Stellenbosch this summer

If you will be spending your summer holidays in Cape Town and you are a big fan of wine tasting, here is your plug.

Stellenbosch is a university town situate 51 kilometers from central Cape Town. It is surrounded by vineyards, with a lot of Dutch museums and nature reserves.

Below are a few wine farms around Stellenbosch.

Warwick Wine farming

They offer low wine tasting rate, you can taste 6 wines for R50. It is a family friendly and affordable wine farm.

Summerhill wines

This is an award-winning wine tasting boutique, they offer gin, wine and cheese tasting at just R169 for 2.

Bellevue wine estate

They offer gin and wine tasting. They also have woodfire pizza with wine tasting at R60.

Webersburg Wine Estate

This is a boutique wine estate with beautiful views of the lake, surrounded by the mountains. They have 4 wines for R60.

If you love good food, great wine then this is your go to place. They offer wine and brandy tasting with different prices.
