On the field, the Springboks players depend on each other for support. However, when it comes to seeking support at home, the rugby players are sure to find it in their families.

Siya Kolisi

Captain of the Springboks Siya Kolisi is not one to shy away from posting pictures of his family on social media, making us feel a part of the Kolisi tribe. Married to high school sweetheart Rachel Kolisi, the pair share two children – Nicholas and Keziah. The family of four have relocated to France as Siya has joined the French rugby team, Racing 92.

Bongi Mbonambi

He may be a beast on the rugby field, but when it comes to his family, Bongi Mbonambi is one gentle giant. From his social media posts, it is clear that the Springboks’ hooker has a tremendous amount of love for his queen, Anastacia, and his princess, Esa.

Cheslin Kolbe

Married to Layla Kolbe, the Kolbe couple share three children – two daughters and a son they welcomed this year. Like the Kolisi kids, Cheslin and Layla’s oldest daughter, Kylah, had also started attending school in France.

Trevor Nyakane

Having gone viral for his happy dance after winning the Rugby World Cup, Trevor Nyakane is another Springboks player that puts his family first. The prop has one daughter, Sky Thando Nyakane, with whom he shares with his wife, Gavaza.

Marvin Orie

A lock for the national rugby team, Marvin celebrated his second year of marriage in February with his wife, Petrushce Orie. The couple have two children, their two-year-old son Loxton and a little Orie they welcomed this year.
