Socialites Zodwa Wabantu and Khanyi Mbau will battle it out in the ring for their upcoming celebrity boxing match.

Confirmed by SowetanLIVE, the match between the two ladies will take place on 22 October at the Ridge Hotel in Mpumalanga with tickets to the showdown costing R250.00.

Promoter Arnold ‘Squire’ Nododile told the above-mentioned publication, “This will be the first ever female celebrity exhibition boxing match-up in the African Continent since such fights have become part and parcels of the evolution of boxing around the globe… I expect a big attendance due to the massive following they have.”

Khanyi and Zodwa previously made headlines after it was made known that they shared the same man, Mandla Mthembu – Khanyi’s ex-husband. The pair started dating when Khanyi was 19 and married when she was 21 years old. He was 30 years her senior.

It is also alleged that the two women have children by the businessman.

Social media users have already started predicting who will win the match.

“I love Khanyi but I’ll put my money on Zodwa,” said one social media user.

Is this a celeb match or they are fighting for Mandla?
