Former Miss South Africa titleholder Basetsana Kumalo shared with social media users that she is one proud mom after her oldest son Nkosinathi attended his matric dance.
Basetsana took to Instagram to pen a sweet note to her son while also sharing a montage of the special day.
“Two weeks ago we had the pleasure to witness our son’s Nkosinathi’s matric dance. Where did the time go!!! For me it was an emotional day that my boy is 18 years and a bigger world awaits him. His gorgeous date Sophie was simply breathtaking in a @gavinrajah creation.
“Having you as a son Nathi has been one of the greatest gifts that life has given me. For all that you have been, for all that you are, for all that you’re yet to be. To my son – Don’t let anyone take you for granted. Always hold your head up high. Never stop believing in yourself. Just go forth and aim for the skies. I may not carry you in my arms anymore, but I will always carry you in my heart. You have given me so many reasons to be proud of the man you have become, but the proudest moment for me is telling others you are my son. Love always, Mom.”
