‘God knows my heart and the truth shall prevail’ – Jub Jub

Rapper and television presenter Molemo ‘Jub-Jub’ Maarohanye broke his silence after news surfaced that he was released on bail after reportedly handed himself to the police on alleged charges of rape, assault and attempted murder.

The SABC news reported that the court granted the bail application setting the bail amount to R10k instead of the R1000 requested by the defence lawyers.

Following reports that he was granted bail, the Ndikhokhele hit maker took to his social media to share a few bible scriptures with more focus on Psalm 121 verse 1 to 5 bible scripture.

He captioned his post:

“No weapon, lies, or scheming formed against me shall prosper.
Ke ngwana badimo. Batloung le bataung. God knows my heart and the truth, which shall prevail ??#ingodwetrust.”

Social media users shared their thoughts on the news, some were fair enough to add that they would wait to hear the alleged victim’s side first, they shared:

“This is so sad though we must all wait to hear two sides of the story. But my view is that Jub-Jub would not ruin his freedom by doing something like this knowing that he will end up in jail again, I pray that the truth comes out though and I pray that whoever is affected in any way between the two, heals and whoever did wrong be jailed.”

“Khanibuyise unyawo (can you guys slow down) Jub Jub, you guys are killing Christian ngale (with this) behaviour. Imagine both Mom and Dad are trending for ubalala (killing) ne rape and everything???.”

Other users supported and motivated the rapper, commenting:

“If you knew the blessing coming you would understand the battle.”

“The truth shall prevail brother. Stay strong.”

“God has not brought you this far to leave you brother! Look at your past life track records how God has been…. Stay in faith God take you through…. Stay blessed!!!!”
