Yesterday was the later rapper and businessman Rikhado “Ricky Rick” Makhado’s birthday, and a few stars took to their social media to wish him a happy heavenly birthday. Close friend Refiloe “Cassper Nyovest” Phoolo was one of the A-listers who celebrated the Kotini hitmaker.
The talented rapper and Cotton Fest concert founder died from suicide on 23 February 2022, at the age of 34. This is after he battled with chronic depression after losing his father, reported Tsisa Live.
Cassper and Ricky had been friends for many years sharing their love for each other and some of the best moments of their lives together. They had a rough patch a few years back and went their separate ways, only to rekindle their friendship later on.
Taking to his social media, Cassper shared a photo of him and Ricky in a setup that looked like a celebratory moment and captioned it:
“Life was simpler at this point. I miss you my friend.”
