After being diagnosed with severe chronic depression, DJ and radio host Dineo Ranaka shared with millions of her followers on a recent social media post that she had been fired by Kaya 959 where she hosted the 959 Breakfast with Sol Phenduka.

Taking to her social media, Dineo shared a post that read the following:

“So I just got fired from Kaya FM. Interesting season of my life. So …. what’s next Dineo???”

The post gained almost 1500 comments from people who showed support, alerting the mother of three to the greatness that she possesses.

Dineo’s older sister Manaka Ranaka was among those who commented, adding:

“And that was that.. just Kaya being Kaya. Im so relieved tho. On to the NEXT MungiMungi. We indeed saw it coming. Greater doors are about to open if not opened already! I pray the decision makers never experience what you experienced mentally!!!”

To which Dineo responded:

“@manakaranaka we definitely saw it coming. All our conversations forecasted this exact moment .”

Somizi Mhlongo came in with what people felt was one of the best advice given. He added:
“They didn’t fire u. They released u so that the next greater chapter can start. Otherwise if they keep u there they’ll be delaying or denying u what’s about to happen. It might not feel like that right now but one day u gonna go back to them and say THANK U. whatever u do right now just make sure u don’t burn any bridges. Hamba kukuhle sis.”

One user asked Dineo what the reason of her dismissal was and the reality TV star responded that she didn’t even bother reading the whole thing.

Twitter users also shared their thoughts with some hinting that Sizwe Dhlomo had something to do with Dineo’s dismissal. They shared:

We need to be honest about Sizwe Dhlomo first Unathi Mkayi was fired at Kaya Fm because of him,Then it’s was the station manager Sibongile Mtayi and now it’s Dineo Ranaka it’s disgusting that he should be the only having bread to eat while others are fired due to him his vile pic.twitter.com/VkDixOjNWQ
