Musician Loyiso Gijana better known as Lloyiso entered the stage as Tamia’s supporting act.

The former Idols SA contestant gained massive popularity on Idols SA when he competed in 2015 at the age of 16 where he advanced to the top five. He then went on to utilise his social media platforms demonstrating his singing skills and gaining a huge following. His performances of well-known covers and original compositions earned him admiration from both domestic and foreign audiences.

On Monday the musician took to his social media timeline where he announced that he would be Tamia’s opening act for the Live in South Africa tour.

He captioned the posting: “Touring with Tamia! Can’t wait to see you guys.”

The tour commenced last night at the Grand Arena in Grand West, Cape Town.

The tour continues to Durban’s ICC venue on Friday before wrapping up with two performances at Pretoria’s Sunbet venue on Saturday and Sunday.
