South African producer and composer Lebo Morake’s reality show has been cancelled due to alleged conflict behind the scenes.

According to ZiMoja, season two of Lebo M: Coming Home is canned as the show brings nothing but conflict.

A source claimed to the publication mentioned above that producer and businesswoman Carol Bouwer is dissatisfied with the lack of direction and Primedia’s current lack of interest in the program due to the alleged conflict it has brought. According to the source, Lebo’s reluctance to take responsibility for the R3 million cash that he was given is the reason Carol is angry with him. They can no longer be friends because of this, the publication reported.

It was also revealed by another source to ZiMoja that Pretty Samuels, the wife of the South African songwriter who provided vocal work for the soundtrack of The Lion King, caused the rift between Lebo and Carol.

“She did not know Pretty well to be telling her her deepest secrets,” says the source.

The insider continued by saying that Pretty informed her closest friend everything Carol told her as soon as they returned to South Africa.

The source further revealed that Lebo doesn’t trust Carol.

“Lebo believes that Carol was trying to cash in using his name. He discovered that she received millions and gave him about R3 million. He was just playing along with this whole ‘my brother and sister relationship’ facade,” adds the source.
