The 10-part reality TV series, The Perfect Picture, is set to return to our screens on 23 July 2023 on eTV and promises to captivate audiences with breathtaking moments that will entice and inspire audiences to ignite their passion for photography.
The new season will feature some of Mzanzi’s top celebs as they go head-to-head in a series of unconventional challenges.
The show’s contestants include the sassy media creator Lasizwe, entertainer Gugu Khati, artist and presenter Luyanda Mzazi, travel show host Zahirah Marty, musician Ivan Roux, media personality and presenter Anele Zondo, actor and presenter Jonathan Boynton-Lee, TV personality Tshego Koke and reality show personality Christall Kay.
This year’s contestants will be competing for the chance to win the grand prize of R150 000 cash and R100 000 in photographic equipment that is bound to help take their passion for photography to the next level. But that’s not all. Viewers will also get the opportunity to win something big. Canon will be running a competition alongside the screening of the show, allowing viewers to win an EOS R10 mirrorless camera worth R25 000.
The show’s host, popular TV presenter, model, and fashion designer Maps Maponyane said, “While I’m often in front of the camera, I also have a passion for content creation and photography, being a part of this series is giving me the chance to experience life from the other side of the lens and I’m here for it.”
Maps added, “I can’t wait to see which celebs have what it takes to produce the perfect picture.”
