Lazy Makoti and J’somthihg to create a cookbook together

South African celebrity Chefs Lazy Makoti and J’Something have teamed up to create a cookbook.

According to Sunday World, the two celebrity chefs’ cookbooks will celebrate the unique tastes that South Africa has and the creativity of home chefs.

The Lazy Makoti is a South Africa’s best selling chef and social media sensation whos real name is Mogau Seshoene. 

Micasa’s J’Something is a singer, song writer and a chef who has made a name for himself in the hospitality industry. The singer hosted his own reality TV show titled Something’s Cooking and has recently opened his new establishment called Artistry which won a Luxe Restaurant Award for Lifestyle Restaurant Of The Year. 

While taking to his Instagram timeline to celebrate his achievement the reality TV star said his Artistry is not just a restaurant but a place that “preserve culture.”

“Family!! We won!!! Lifestyle Restaurant of the Year!” he wrote.

“We could not be more honoured! This means so much to us. None of what we aim to do is possible without our incredible team and all of you, our family! What a moment.”

“We never wanted to be the best at food or anything of the sort but we wanted to build a place to celebrate, showcase and preserve culture.”

“A place where the arts, the artist and the fans could be shown love and appreciation … a COMMUNITY! The aim was and will always be to focus more on building special moments for us to connect as a community … the ARTS industry is so dependent on one another, we need each other!! He wrote.
