After dropping crumbs and teasing fans about his upcoming album, entrepreneur and rapper Cassper Nyovest has finally announced its name and release date.
On 23 May, Cassper tweeted, “Decided on an album release date today. We got 1 uncleared sample, might have to change the beat but yeah, I just wanna share the music now cause it’s therapy for me and I got a lot to talk about. Hope y’all dig it. Album title, date, cover and single soon.”

Finally, on 26 May, he announced that the album will be called Solomon after his friend of over 20 years Solomon ‘Carpo’ More and will be released on 28 July 2023.
Previously, Cassper mentioned that the album will not have any amapiano. Fans got a taste of what to expect as Don Billiato also released a snippet of one of his songs.

After the announcement, a fan shared a throwback video of Cassper in an interview with Anele Mdoda, saying that he would never name an album Solomon.
“I’m just glad Carpo finally got the nod,” said the fan, adding a laughing emoji. Cassper responded, “Hahaha he did. You shoulda seen him.”
