Thuso Mbedu bags L’Oreal brand ambassador and spokesperson for Sub-Saharan Africa

Thuso Mbedu got Mzansi in goose bumps again last night when L’Oreal announced her as the L’Oreal brand ambassador and spokesperson for Sub-Saharan Africa. The award-winning actress who hails from Pietermaritzburg is held among big names in Hollywood and has been linked with big international brands.

The former Isibaya, Scandal and Isithuzi actress who went to star in Hollywood movies such as The Woman King and and Underground Railroad has also recently joined another big brand after being announced as the new member of the #GrisDior Collective.

A statement issued by L’Oréal tagging Thuso read: “We are thrilled to announce the talented South African actress @Thuso.Mbedu as a new brand ambassador and spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. In addition to her successful international acting career, Thuso is passionate about empowering women and girls by providing them with educational resources alongside the non-profit organization Save The Children.

“Together, we look forward to inspiring and uplifting individuals of all backgrounds to embrace their beauty, celebrate diversity and foster self-confidence.
