Basetsana Khumalo shared her life memories with fans

Basetsana Khumalo took to her Instagram to share a video of flash backs moments captured in her book MyJourneyOfHope.

The video titled MyJourneyofHope starts with the “first photo ever taken” of Basetsana and her husband Romeo Khumalo.

The 1994 Miss South Africa, author and successful businesswoman, also added a photo of her makoti initiation captioning it “Makoti with my aunt Prella Maseko.”

Photo’s that follow include, her time at Miss World 1994, a photo with her father captioned “dance with my father”, meeting “her hero” Tata Nelson Mandela, with Mama Winnie- Mandela, her Top Billing interview with Mariah Carey. Meeting Oprah, Michael Jackson, Hugh Masekela, Wesly Snipes, Bee-Gees, Quincy Jones and her book cover’s photo shoot. 

The post captioned, “Lights, Camera, Action…., “Let’s FlashBack to some of the beautiful moments captured from MyJourneyOfHope” touched many followers.

Media personality Minnie Dlamini was among those who commented, she shared:
“I’m so glad all these special moments that have inspired me on my journey and I’m sure many others are captured in your book ?? You’ve outdone the game and still doing so ❤️.”
Some commented, “You are for the stage and big occasions. You are larger than life, you are my role model and my favourite mama…God bless you always❤️❤️❤️.”
More shared, “You were born for this! You are aware of how blessed you are and your gratitude for the life you have really sets you apart ?. Thank you for this❤️.”
Also, “I’m definitely getting this book as well!!!! I love how you share your stories ?❤️. You’ll always be my Miss South Africa ❤️.”
