“West Ink n Wena Wodumo OutDoor”, Babes Wodumo to host new show

Gqom star Babes Wodumo has announced that she will be hosting a show called, West Ink n Wena Wodumo OutDoor.

The singer hopes to celebrate her birthday this month with the show, but details are yet to be disclosed.

The Wololo hitmaker revealed that at the show she will be performing songs from her upcoming album.

Taking to Facebook, the Gqom queen who has been mourning the death of her husband, Mampintsha, wrote:

“So, it’s that time of the year once again as it’s my Birthday Month, so what do u guys say we bring back West Ink n Wena Wodumo OutDoors… Doing it differently this year, I’m giving you guys a chance to choose venues for me to host the outdoors in and around South Africa…. On the outdoorI will be performing my new album tracks for the first time before release… Person to contact for confirmation on which venue I can host West Ink n Wena Wodumo OutDoor,” the mother of one wrote.

On Valentine’s Day 2023, Babes Wodumo expressed sadness for celebrating the lover’s day without her husband. She visited the grave with a cute teddy bear and left flowers on top of his grave.

The artist and music producer died on the 24th of December 2022 after suffering a stroke.

Taking to Facebook, the Gqom queen shared an emotional post, she shared a photo of herself on Mampintsha’s grave and captioned it with emotional words saying:

“Wow after sooo many years this is the first Valentine’s Day without you sthandwa Sam (my love)… Today woman out there are celebrating with loved ones, but however me being here today makes it different from others…I forever cherish days we shared together..Ngyazi ujabulile ukungbona today nginawe Sdudla Sam,Sdikselwa,Stakataka,Baba ka Sponge, (I know you are happy to see me today my love, Sponge’s father)” she wrote.
