Mixed reactions as South African musician, Langa Mavuso pleads with fans to not ‘bring his ex’ to his shows.

The musician made the plea recently in a now deleted tweet.

“No matter how much you love my music, if you’re dating my ex, please don’t bring him to my shows or don’t let him bring you to my shows.” read the deleted tweet.

However, fans and followers wouldn’t hear it, claiming his request was unreasonable and unrealistic.

The audience felt like a big hug to me as well. Thank you ❤️ https://t.co/qtngEAaUVq

“And what if I don’t know ya’ll are exs, and the person doesn’t mention it. It’s not like we ask ppl to list their exs.” TimesLIVE quoted one tweet.

The report said the musician’s album Langa was launched at a time he was going through heartbreak and the singer plans to continue being vulnerable with his next project.

“I’m excited to even start working on the second album … I’m going through a break-up, so this next album might be about a break-up or a make-up, we don’t know, but we’ll see,” he was quoted as saying in the report.

Talking about his lessons learnt from previous break-ups, the singer said it was important to “sit in the pain, to feel it, to grieve whatever you’ve lost, the report said.
