Popular hit series The Wife has left many fans heartbroken after Showmax announced the recent exit of fan favorite Abdul Khoza as Nqoba Zulu, as he seemed to allude that his exit was not of his own accord he alleged.

Many viewers of the show were left wondering if the acclaimed actress Zikhona Sodlaka would also leave her role as Mandisa as she played Addul Khoza’s love interest on the show.

According to Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela, he alleged back in June 2022 that the actress will not be returning for season 3 of The Wife, he said the following:

“TV: Zikhona Sodlaka leaving #TheWife. Prolific actress, who won Mzansi tv viewers’ hearts playing the loveable “Mandisa”, will not be returning for the new seasons,” he tweeted.

He continued by saying that production is expected to begin in August and “rap” in November.

“Production on Season 3 of #TheWifeShowmax starts in August and expected to TX in November.”

However, Zikhona Sodlaka clapped back on the false rumours as she set the record straight on her future as the loveable “Mandisa.”

As her post seems to suggest that she too may be making her exit from The Wife, as she caption “What a journey.” This post came off as a clear indication to many fans as it suggested her time might just come to an end for the actress on the hit series.

However, Zikhona made it clear when she was asked a question directly in the comments section, the actress made it clear that she is not going anywhere and is set to remain as the many fan’s lovable Mandisa.
