The South African comedian and The Daily Show host Trevor Noah was reflecting about Mzansi recently after his trip to Atlanta. The comedian could not stop raving about its blackness.

In a clip posted on Twitter by The Daily Show‘s, the comedian shared with the audience what he loved most about the city from the moment he landed.

“I am loving every single moment out here, the vibe is different. You got good people. You got great music. Everyone here is so polite as well. One of the things I’ve been loving most out here is how Black it is”.

“They’re like, ‘Oh, Atlanta has so much traffic. Have you felt the traffic? Have you felt what it’s like?’ I have, but the Blackness changes that too. This is the only city I’ve been to where the traffic has rhythm.”

The comedian made a joked on how he thought he may have flew back to South African by mistake once he had arrived in the city of Atlanta.

Trevor announced a few weeks ago that he was leaving The Daily Show after seven years. There was speculation that his departure was because of his rumoured love affair with singer Dua Lipa. He has, however, set the record straight.

“Don’t believe everything you read in the tabloids,” said the comedian.

In a video shared on The Daily Show‘s Instagram, Trevor denied that is the reason he is leaving.

“That is not how it happened. Please do not believe anything you read in the tabloids. It’s not true,” Trevor told The Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr.
