Idris Elba‘s wife Sabrina Elba has confirmed that she has been diagnosed with coronavirus. The star shared the news during a Facetime with Oprah on Oprah Talks COVID-19, Apple TV+ series.
During the interview, Sabrina shared why she chose to support Idris after he announced that he tested positive for the virus. She said in part; “I wanted to be with him. That’s the instinct of a wife. You want to go and take care.”
On her own diagnosis, she shared; “I don’t feel anything that would come to what people would now expect to be a symptom of coronavirus, which is really strange. It might change in the coming weeks, and we’ll keep everyone updated,” she said. But it is worrisome that we’re sitting here, two people, and … we’re asymptomatic.”
This comes a week after Idris announced that he also tested positive for the virus.
