Tributes pour in following Nomhle Nkonyeni’s death

Veteran actress Nomhle Nkonyeni has died at the age of 77. According to The Herald, the actress’ nephew, Vusi Manapha, confirmed the news that Nomhle died on Wednesday morning at 4:30am.

This comes after the Nomhle received the National Order of Ikhamanga for her contribution to the performing arts. in April. In 2016, she was honoured with a lifetime achievement at the South African Film and Television Awards.

Nomhle is popularly known for her theatre and television roles on shows such as Tsha Tsha, Gaz Lam, and her most recent role on Scandal! on e.tv.

Tributes pour in following Nomhle Nkonyeni’s death. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
