Ever wanted to make an urgent call and you’re met with “You have insufficient funds to make this call, please recharge your account before attempting any further calls”. And while we all know that voice have you ever asked yourself who the is behind the voice? What do they look like, are they even a real human?

You’ll never guess who the MTN insufficient funds voice belongs to

On Thursday Instagrammers were shook when a video surfaced of a lady recording the ‘insufficient funds’ message. The person who had posted this video is none other than the award-winning actress Kgomotso Christopher who has starred in soapies such as Isidingo and Scandal.

Kgomotso posted a video of herself recording Interactive voice response (IVR) system phrases, in celebration of her recording these messages for the past 6 years, with the caption ‘Greetings from the MTN lady who tells you when “You have insufficient airtime to make this call” ??. #MylifeinVoice MTNIVRVoice#6yearsStrong’
