Over 50 acts to take place at ProKid Dankie San tribute concert

ProKid fans are in for serious treat as over 50 acts have been announced to take place at the Dankie San tribute concert. The news has been trending on twitter throughout the morning, along with the anouncement that VIP tickets are sold out.

ProKid’s friend and fellow rapper Slikour made the initial call for the concert to take place during ProKid’s funeral on Sunday to honour the rapper and his legacy, as well as  raise money to support his daughter.

News that the South African government was stepping in to lend a financial helping hand to ProKid’s family for funeral costs had many talking about the financial challenges ProKid had been facing during his career

Fans of ProKid are obviously excited about the concert with only a few tickets for general access left.

Tickets are selling from R100 – R250 at Computicket.

The concert is set to take place at Zone 6 venue in Soweto on Sunday 26 August.

The full artist line up has been announced with a list of some of South Africa’s Hip Hop heavyweights.
