The past weekend saw our local stars coming out in their numbers to support the Charity Mile at Turffontein Racecourse.

The 2017 Charity Mile event saw 16 horses paired with 16 celebrities for the benefit of 16 charities. One million rands was given away to the charities. We show you some of our favourite moments from the star studded Charity Mile event:

1. Abigail Visagie
The news anchor and presenter looked fierce in a sunny dress by Irene Makhavhu.

2. Carol Tshabalala
The award-winning sports presenter turned heads in red. Her mom also came out to support her.

3. Kim Jayde Robinson
The MTV Base Africa presenter and model looked effortlessly chic in head-to-toe black. She won R70 000 for Peermont Hotel School.

4. Liteboho Molise
One of our November cover stars, Liteboho was pretty in pink; thanks to Antherline Couture.

Her horse came second and raked in R100 000 for Fortune Kunene Primary School.

6. Thandy Matlaila
The local actress and yogi looked amazing in an Antherline Couture dress. She looked equally stunning in a sizzling bikini number after all the festivities.

7. Thuso Mbedu
One of our June cover stars, Thuso looked like a dream in an NN Vintage gown. Her horse won R50 000 for Thembimfundo Primary School in Vosloorus. Thuso is making big waves overseas following her International Emmy nomination in the Best Performance by an Actress category for her role in Mzansi Magic’s Is’thunzi where she plays the lead character Winnie.
