She reminds all of us that resilience and hard work do pay off.

Ndebele artist Esther Mahlangu is flying the SA flag really high. She is painting one-of-a-kind interior trims for the BMW 7-series. The gorgeous car will be sold as a unique piece at this year’s Frieze Art Fair in London.

Actually in 1991, Esther created this piece of art for BMW which we so desperately adore.

#Esthermahlangu and #BMW…one of the great collaborations to date 👌🏿👌🏿

This comes after the 80-year-old collaborated with musician John Legend for a campaign to help fight HIV and AIDS. As part of that project she designed limited edition bottles for Belvedere vodka. The proceeds go towards HIV/AIDS prevention.

We are so very proud of Esther. She reminds all of us that resilience and hard work do pay off. At the age of 8o, her incredible work is finally getting international recognition. Absolutely amazing!
