It’s Spring! The change of season means that your beauty routine also needs to change to accommodate the weather, and keep your skin looking good and healthy. First up in the routine change is skin care. Our Beauty Editor, Grace Mantjiu is kicking things off with a review for Avene sunscreen.

Sunburn is an immediate reaction but sun damage occurs over a lifetime which is why its important to wear sunscreen daily. Including sunscreen in my daily regime is as easy as waking up and knowing that I have to brush my teeth.

I have tried so many sunscreens over the years and only a few made it to my good product list. Two months ago I started using Avene SPF50+ Sunscreen Cream, R240 and I loved it on my skin. It didn’t leave any white residue on my skin, it was not sticky and it provided moisture to my dehydrated skin. However I found that I had to rub it into my skin a little bit longer so that is spreads evenly on my face. I didn’t mind that because it gave me time to let it sink into the skin before applying a primer or foundation.
