Fire up the braai this Heritage Day and celebrate with a juicy mixed grill in a mouth-watering marinade for you and your guests.
Prep and cooking time: 35 minutes (marinade overnight)
4 packets PnP Braai Mix Assorted meats
½ cup (125ml) PnP Blended Cooking Oil
½ cup (125ml) PnP Vinegar
½ cup (125ml) Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon braai seasoning Salt and black pepper to taste
- Place meat in a large shallow dish.
- Mix all ingredients for marinade in a small bowl and pour over meat. Rub it on to make sure the meat is completely coated. Marinate for at least 3 hours or preferably overnight.
- Using a long metal skewer, poke meat; alternating wors, chops and steak.
- Braai meat over an open fire until cooked through, turning and basting with marinade. Serve with steamed dumpling (idombolo) and chakalaka.
