“One of the biggest trends we saw early in the year was the ‘no make-up’ look or minimalistic look! It is all about healthy-looking and glowing skin. Make-up always looks good on skin that’s well taken care of. This summer, however, maintaining healthy, glowing skin is a little more intense. Make-up artists call this the holographic glow,” says Masego.

She shares tips on how to achieve the holographic glow:
1. Wear a foundation that gives you a luminous finish and not a flaky look. The best foundation for this is NYX Professional Make-up Total Control Drop Foundation. It’s perfect for a glowing finish
2. Apply a highlighter or shimmer to intensify your glow (NYX Professional Make-up has illuminating powders to help you achieve this).
3. Finish by applying an SPF 15/higher lip balm or lipstick. This helps hydrate your lips and keep them moist. This is essential, especially with the wave of the matte lipstick. Applying a balm under your matte lipstick prevents dryness and cracked lips.
