Grilled Pork Chops with Tomato Bean Sauce and Pasta


Prep time: 4 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes Serves: 4

  • 250g FATTI’S & MONI’S Gnocchi Pasta
  • 30ml olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 x 410g tin cannellini beans, drained
  • 250g cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup (125ml) sweet chilli sauce
  • Handful basil, chopped + extra
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 pork chops
  • Squeeze lemon juice
  1. Cook the FATTI’S & MONI’S Gnocchi Pasta according to packet instructions. Drain.
  2. Heat the oil over medium high and sauté the onion and garlic for 5 minutes. Add the beans, tomatoes and sweet chilli sauce and cook for about 5 minutes until the tomatoes start to burst open. Mix through basil and season to taste.
  3. Meanwhile, season the chops. Heat a griddle pan or braai over medium high and cook the chops for about 5 minutes each side until cooked. Squeeze lemon juice over. Serve with the pasta, the bean sauce and extra basil scattered over.
