Ginger Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

  • 2 cups beef, cut into strips
  • 2 cups savoy cabbage, shredded
  • 6 tablespoons (90ml) oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 large yellow pepper, roughly chopped
  • 1 large red pepper, roughly chopped
  • 1 green pepper, roughly chopped
  • 3 tablespoons (45ml) oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Rocket leaves, for serving
  1. In a large frying pan, heat oil. Fry ginger until soft.
  2. Add beef. Stir-fry until tender and remove from pan.
  3. Add cabbage and peppers. Stir fry for 8–10 minutes or until vegetables are cooked, but still crunchy.
  4. Return beef. Add oyster sauce and seeds. Mix well.
  5. Serve with rocket leaves.
