  • 2 fillet steaks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup (250ml) red wine
  • 2 cups (500ml) beef stock
  • ½ cup strawberry jam
  • Handful fresh thyme
  • Potatoes to serve
  • Green beans to serve
  • Cherry tomatoes to serve
  1. Heat grill pan. Season fillet steaks and grill for 8–10 minutes. Remove from pan and put aside.
  2. In a pan, heat wine, stock, jam and thyme. Cook for 20–25 minutes until the mixture thickens. Season well.
  3. Serve fillets with vegetables and sauce.
