Local musos DJ Zinhle, Ami Faku & Moonchild Sanelly are set to perform at the inaugural The Roots Africa Day festival. The festival is a 24-hour virtual event that will feature live performances, DJ sets, and conversations from some of the biggest artists across the globe.

Other local stars who have been billed to perform include Micasa, DJ Tira, Sun-El Musician and Mafikizolo. Other African music acts like Sean Kuti, Mereba, D’Banj, Ayo, Makeda and Juls will also be part of the celebration.

The Roots Africa Day festival takes place on 25 May 2020 on The Roots’ YouTube channel.
