These crumbed onions would make a great side dish. Try them and you will be the talk of the table
Crumbed Onion Rings
- Oil for frying
- 4 large onions, thickly sliced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ½ cup flour
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a frying pan, heat the oil.
- Meanwhile, season the onion rings before dipping in the egg, dust with flour, dip again in egg and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
- Fry for 4-5 minutes or until light brown.
- Serve immediately
