Savour the “van de full” taste experience with the first of its kind in South Africa. Now you can have a traditional Belgian taste expedition in Mzansi with the newly opened Van de Waffle. Enjoy authentic dough-based Liege waffles that appeal to foodies, and have the ability to turn almost anyone in the world, into a die-hard waffle fan.

The beginning of a sweet journey

Bringing a Van de Waffle to South Africa has been a lifelong vision for brothers Camren and Marco Vandeput. The idea to create a waffle haven with an appreciation for taste, quality and longevity came after the brothers got “fed up” with poor-quality waffles. Now, 200 years later, a Van de Waffle branch has opened in one of Mzansi’s most robust metropolitan areas – Rosebank, Johannesburg.

Withstanding the taste of time

Every Liege waffle carefully balances traditional style cooking with world renowned culinary skills – a delightful combination that has taken over 100 years to perfect.

Give your sweet tooth or craving the “van de full” experience, at the new Van de Waffle branch, now open at the Zone in Rosebank.
